Payment Methods

We accept:

  • Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover)
  • Debit cards
  • PayPal

All payments are in U.S. dollars (USD).

When You're Charged

You're charged when you place your order, not when it ships.

An authorization hold may appear on your account immediately. The actual charge posts within 1–2 business days.

Order Confirmation

You'll receive an email confirmation with:

  • Order number
  • Items ordered
  • Total amount charged
  • Billing address
  • Estimated delivery date

Sales Tax

Sales tax is calculated based on your shipping address. Tax varies by state and locality. Final total including tax is shown at checkout.

Failed Payments

If your payment is declined:

  • Your order is not placed
  • You're not charged
  • Try a different payment method or contact your bank

Subscriptions (Auto-Delivery)

If you subscribe to regular deliveries:

  • You're charged on your subscription date
  • You get an email notification before each charge
  • You can cancel anytime with no penalty
  • You can skip, pause, or modify your subscription

Refunds

Refunds are issued to your original payment method and take:

  • 5–7 business days to process after approval
  • 3–5 additional business days for your bank to post it
  • Total: About 2–3 weeks

Billing Errors or Disputes

If you notice an incorrect charge:

  1. Contact us at support@mapawspetsupply.com
  2. Provide your order number and details
  3. We'll investigate within 3–5 business days
  4. We'll resolve it or explain

Chargebacks (Last Resort)

If we can't resolve a billing dispute, you can file a chargeback with your bank or credit card company. This reverses the charge. However:

  • Chargebacks take 30–90 days
  • We may close your account
  • We will try to work it out directly first

Payment Security

We protect your information with:

  • Encrypted connections (HTTPS/SSL)
  • PCI compliance
  • Third-party payment processors
  • Fraud detection tools

We never store your full credit card number.
